Privacy policy
This site collects very little, and only in order to answer you. Here is the detail.
Who handles your data
The data controller is SURL «ANANYAN BALLET», in Monaco. Processing follows Monegasque law n° 1.565 on the protection of personal data. For any question, write to victoria@ananyanballet.com.
What we collect
Three forms, and nothing else. The trial class form collects:
- your child's first name
- your child's age
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- the class you are interested in, if you tell us
- your message, if you write one
The support form collects:
- your first name and last name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give it
- your company and role, if you give them
- the kind of support you have in mind
- your message, if you write one
The enrolment dossier, which only families joining the school fill in, collects:
- the student's identity: first name, surname, date of birth, nationality and country of residence
- the school they attend, if you give it
- the family address
- the name, email address and phone number of the legal guardians
- the person to contact in an emergency, and their number
- the people you allow to collect the student, if you name any
- the health information you judge relevant to the student's safety, if you report any
- your image permission
- your acceptance of the school rules, the name entered to sign, and the date of sending
Why
To answer your request, to arrange your child's trial class, to talk about a partnership, and, for the enrolment dossier, to welcome the student properly: to place them in the right group, to know who to call and what to do if something happens to them during a class, and to keep the school's accounts. We do not use this information for anything else, and we never sell it or pass it to third parties.
On what basis
For trial class and support requests, on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, with no need to explain yourself.
For the enrolment dossier, on the enrolment itself, which commits us to each other, and on the accounting obligations that follow from it. The image permission is part of that: it is asked for at enrolment, because a class and a performance are photographed as a group and a student cannot be taken out of the picture without being taken off the stage.
Who receives it
The school, meaning Victoria Ananyan and the people who assist her. Email delivery goes through Resend, a sending provider acting as a processor, which does not use the content for its own purposes.
Where it is kept
The site stores nothing in a database. What you write is sent by email and stays in the school's mailbox. The enrolment dossier is also sent back to you as a PDF, and the school keeps the same copy in its files. The server hosting the site keeps technical operating logs, which are separate from the content of the forms.
For how long
For as long as it takes to handle your request. If your child joins the school, the enrolment dossier is kept for the time they are with us, then for as long as the law requires for accounting records. Health information is erased when the student leaves: it serves only their safety during classes. You can ask for erasure at any time.
Health information
You tell us what you judge useful, and nothing more. This information serves one purpose: protecting your child during a class. It is read only by the teaching team, it is never published, never passed to a third party, and never used to decide a group, a level or a casting. It is erased when the student leaves.
Images of your child
Permission to use images of the student is given in the enrolment dossier, and it is part of enrolling. A class and a performance are photographed as a group: a student cannot be taken out of the picture without being taken off the stage, and the stage is part of the training. The images serve to show the work and the life of the school, on this site, on its social accounts, in its printed material, in the press that writes about it, and in its teaching work and archive.
What the school undertakes in return: no name appears beside a published photograph, neither first name nor surname, images are never sold, licensed or passed to a third party for their own communication, and you may at any time ask us to take one particular photograph down. We then remove it from our own channels; anything already printed, or already published by someone else, cannot be recalled. The permission covers one school year and we ask you again each year.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookie at all. It measures its own traffic with software installed on its own server, the one already serving these pages, and calls no third party statistics service. Fonts are served from the site itself too. So your browser contacts nobody else while displaying these pages.
What is recorded: the page you are reading, the page or search engine that brought you to it, your browser's language, the type of device, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. The IP address itself is never kept: it serves only to compute a visit identifier, with a key that changes every day.
These statistics stay general. They cannot recognise you from one day to the next, and cannot follow you to other sites. If your browser sends the "do not track" signal, nothing is measured.
Your rights
You have:
- the right to access the information we hold about you
- the right to have it corrected
- the right to have it erased
- the right to object to it being processed
To exercise them, write to victoria@ananyanballet.com. Every request gets an answer.
Supervisory authority
The Personal Data Protection Authority of Monaco (APDP) is the competent authority. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to it.
