“La Pluie” is a duet by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. None of the classical vocabulary disappears in it, but all of it is displaced: the weight, the speed, the way two bodies hold each other.

The archive comes from a gala in Mexico City, in 2012. A dancer trained in the classical tradition spends a career doing both, and it is the same years at the barre that make either one possible.
