Victoria on stage

The Princess Florine variation

A short stage archive: Victoria dances Princess Florine's variation, from the Bluebird pas de deux in The Sleeping Beauty.

25 February 2014 · Video · 1 min

The video is hosted on YouTube. It loads only when you start it.

The variation lasts under a minute. Victoria was dancing with the Dutch National Ballet at the time, where she performed the roles of Aurora and Princess Florine in Sir Peter Wright’s production.

Students meet these variations later in their training: a few dozen seconds of stage, prepared over months.
